
Terms and Conditions


Payments and Registering for Lessons:

Tuition fees must be paid in full to Sinobeats before lesson begins. Lesson reservations will only be confirmed after the full tuition fee is received.

A minimum of one (1) standard package should be enrolled each time; a standard package includes ten (10) lessons.

Personal information will be required by Sinobeats to set up student accounts; information collected will only be used for the school’s internal records, and will not be disclosed to any third party.
Lesson Schedule:

All Sinobeats lessons are conducted offline in Melbourne or remotely via Zoom. Students should follow the time agreed between you and the teaching teacher; it is the students’ responsibility to confirm with their teaching teacher the date and time of their next lesson.

For both offline and online lessons, students are expected to arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement time. The lesson will not be extended due to late arrival.

All lesson packages will have an expiry date from the first day of your lesson.
10-lesson packages expire 6 months from the date of first lesson;
20-lesson packages expire 1 year from the date of first lesson;
40-lesson packages expire 2 years from the date of first lesson.

Timetable Changes - Sinobeats reserves the right to cancel or change lesson timetables without any extra charge to students. Sinobeats need to notify students 24 hours in advance.

The teaching teacher and the lesson location will not be changed unless both sides agree to change and it.
Cancellations:

Be sure to notify Sinobeats administration staff and teaching teachers 24 hours in advance, if you need to reschedule or cancel your lesson. Where inadequate notice is given the lesson fee will be charged and considered as consumed.

Termination of Lessons:

In the event that a student wishes to withdraw a package, a notice of withdrawal should be provided in writing no less than 30 days before expiration dates and 80% of the left lesson fee will be refunded within 7 working days.

If you need to withdraw from lessons due to an unexpected change of circumstances such as long-term illness, injury or hardship, please contact our management team. In these circumstances, a credit can be organised for any remaining lessons wherever possible.

The lessons can be transferred to others within the expiry day. Transferer needs to inform the transferee that there is an expiration date of the lesson and the expiration date won’t change. Both the transferor and transferee need to agree with the transferal and sign the lesson transfer form.
Related Facilities:

Instruments / Books - Students are required to purchase and use their own instruments and study materials at their own expense. Photocopies of books are not permitted due to copyright issues. Sinobeats may make recommendations as to suitable instruments however the ultimate decision is that of the student. Incorrect instruments or study materials may result in a teaching teacher refusing to proceed with a lesson as these are necessary for proper lesson progression.

Electronic Devices - unless the student's teaching teacher has authorised the prior use of mobile phones, tablets or other electronic devices, the use of same during the course of a lesson is not permitted.

Sinobeats Equipment - students are not permitted to remove any property belonging to or under the custody and/or control of Sinobeats from its premises without the prior written consent of Sinobeats in writing.
Others:

Appearance - Students are expected to present for lessons neat and clean. School uniforms are acceptable.

Safety - students are not permitted to act in a manner that constitutes a nuisance to others or threatens the safety or well-being of themselves or others.

Complaints - in the event that there is any complaint regarding tuition or service provided by the teaching teacher or matters incidental to the same such complaint should be formalised in writing to the Email (hello@sinobeats.com.au) of Sinobeats for appropriate action.

Promotional Material - Sinobeats may from time to time produce promotional materials such as but not limited to video, print, images and digital to promote students and Sinobeats. The student provides their full release in favour of Sinobeats on all such materials which depict or refer to the student and Sinobeats reserves all intellectual property rights in such materials. Students shall not be permitted to use any Sinobeats marketing material, videos, images or intellectual property for their own use unless expressly authorised by Sinobeats in writing.

Parent / Guardian's Consent - For students under the age of 18, their parent/guardian acknowledged and agreed to the above T&Cs.
